The pencil sharpener was intended to have a pencil in it for the puzzle. ![]() The broken tile on the floor was intended to move out of the way to reveal a grate below. The map in this is actually different from the final game's map, possibly meaning this may have been an early layout. This game revolves around an elementary school student named as Phil Eggtree. Seems to have coding and the textbox also. There are plenty of simple gameplay, interesting puzzles, and humorous dialogue. Same with the inventory but with the map. Weirdly, it has a textbox to the left identical from the notebook window. While this is a sequel, I almost see it as a semi-remake with more polish, because it's not as if the gameplay, setting, or 'story' is noticeably different. A few people seemed interested in a sequel and I felt like I could improve upon what I'd made before. It seems also combining items worked differently earlier, as you had to drag them to each slot and then press the button to combine them rather than simply dragging one item over the other. I made this in 2006 under the name JonBro, not so long after the first Riddle School. Originally, you were able to pop out the inventory as its own window. The window mysteriously mentions a Save Station, the player would have to go to to save their notes. The note-taking system has a tiny bit of code remaining, as you can actually type into the note window. Originally, the game was going to add an expanded inventory system and a new mechanic, a notebook for typing down info. 2 Scrapped Puzzle Graphics and Animations. ![]()
